FPC hollow board, also known as flexible circuit board, is a printed circuit with high reliability and excellent flexibility. The production process of FPC hollow plate can be summarized as the following process:
1 cutting: FPC according to the required size of the base material into the initial cutting, the requirements of the size is correct and its surface can not have creases, stains and so on.
2.CNC drilling: FPC according to the design drawings of the aperture or pattern of the size and shape of the plate into high-speed drilling.
3. Copper plating: FPC with precipitation chemical copper principle on the surface of the substrate and copper hole surface plated with a thin layer of copper layer, and check its thickness, the requirements of the copper plating to be uniform and smooth. And the appropriate chemical washing, will be easy to remove the surface.
4. Apply dry film.
5. Two-side exposure: FPC places the semi-finished FPC engraving board under certain lighting conditions to detect whether there are pinholes and broken lines.
6. Development: Display the image of the negative.
7 etching: FPC to remove the oxide and impurities on the surface of the hollow plate, enhance the adhesion of copper and the surface.
8. Film removal and chemical cleaning: FPC will be attached to the dry film more than part of the removal.
9. Paste protective film: the protective layer on the surface of FPC hollow plate.
10 lamination: FPC to make the film is more firmly attached to the FPC hollow plate surface.
11. Electroplating lead or nickel gold: some FPC hollow plates need to be plated with this metal to achieve special functions.
12. Segmentation and punching shape: to deal with the appearance of FPC hollow board, whether there are burr, pull and other bad appearance phenomenon.
13. Detection: the FPC hollow out board obtained by the system is tested and compared with the standard sample to see whether its appearance and performance are consistent.
It can be seen that the production of FPC hollow plate is the need to go through a number of complex technological processes, the requirements of each process is very high and has a very important role in its molding. Of course, with the continuous progress and maturity of technology, FPC can achieve one-step or complete automatic production in many technological processes in the future.
